I'm Ashley Ohno, a trained Kimono Sensei and Professional dresser.
I'm available in-person in the DFW area or virtual sessions everywhere.
My Story
I studied and got my teaching license at the Hakubi Kyoto Kimono School - Shinjuku branch located in Tokyo, Japan. I have also competed and won awards in the Yukata Queen and Kimono Queen contests. Need help figuring our your kimono sizing, finding kimonos shops accessable and assist with kimono coordination accessories that would fit your style? Then a Kimono Consultation is just what you need.For any consultation session I go over any aspects of kimono dressing and provide advice and planning. Review our kimono items before a dressing session, go through your current kimono collection and accessories to discuss what may need, and more!
~ Can be done remotely or in person
~Cost $25 - Time 1 Hour *(can be discounted with other services)

Kimono Lessons
Learn anywhere from the basics to how to put on a kimono yourself, to dressing difficult obi ties.Confidently dress yourself or others! We can start from the basics of learning different tools, what to use, how to properly put everything on.

1.5 hours for $30
~ Group Lessons - no more than 5 people

Kimono Dressing
Learning to dress up kimono's can take time, so just let me come and dress you!Kitsuke kimono dressing service where I will come to your home or location of event and dress you up in your own kimono.
PRICING
~ Yukata - $30
~ Kimonos that require Nagoya obi (Komon/Tsumugi/Iromuji) - $45
~ Kimonos that require Fukuro obi (Tsukesage/Houmongi/Irotomesode/Kurotomesode/Iromuji) - $55
~ Furisode - $75

Beginner Yukata Package
Lets start with the easiest and most casual kimono to put on - the Yukata! Here we will learn how to dress yourself in a Yukata and learn a variety of obi ties. Prefect for summer festivals, Japanese events or hanging out with friends!
Plan includes
~ A total of 4 lessons - 90 minutes each
~ Yukata and tools may all be rented for free
~ Includes a consulting session
~ Group Lessons available - no more than 5 people
~ Total $95 for individual - $80 per person for group

Beginner Kimono Package
Learn the basics to how to dress yourself in a Nagajuban, kimono, and Nagoya obi. Focus will be on how to prepare and take care of all of your items, what tools you need and the best methods of kimono dressing for beginers!Confidently be able to dress yourself!

~ A total of 6 lessons - 90 minutes each
~ Kimono and tools may be rented for free
~ Includes a consulting session

~ Total $150 for individual - $125 per person for group
